- Walk through the cabin and place oxygen masks on every passenger.
- Watch for exclamation marks above passengers still needing masks.
- Avoid walking through the open door or you will be sucked out (you respawn inside).
- Continue the flight normally once all masks are on.
Severity Classification
This emergency is classified as Resolvable. Handle the crisis correctly and your flight continues to the destination with an adjusted safety rating.
Cabin depressurization creates an immediate oxygen crisis. When the event triggers, a door may be sucked out of the aircraft and passengers begin losing health without oxygen masks. Walk the cabin quickly placing masks on every passenger. The exclamation mark system on Easy and Medium identifies passengers still needing assistance. Avoid walking through the open door — while you respawn inside the aircraft, the delay costs precious seconds. This emergency was revamped in April 2024 to include the door suction mechanic. Once all masks are distributed, the flight continues normally.
Preparation Tips
Always play the safety briefing video before takeoff — failing to do so penalizes your rating during this and every other emergency. On Easy and Medium difficulties, watch for exclamation marks above passengers who need assistance. Consider purchasing the Emergency Control gamepass to practice this specific scenario without waiting for random triggers. Review all emergency types on our emergencies overview page and study the game controls for efficient cabin navigation during crises.
